Everyone loves crocheting things for babies – they always look so cute and the projects are small and easy to carry around! Easy Beginner Baby Hat is probably the easiest hat pattern I’ve ever seen. It is worked in rows and then sewn together – no increasing!
This quick and easy project is made using a size J-10 crochet hook and a #5 Bulky Weight Yarn such as Serenity Chunky yarn, available in 16 solid colors and 17 multi-colors. It is a 100% Fine Acrylic yarn that can be machine washed and dried – always a great thing to hear when making items for babies!
Other than a chain stitch and single crochet, the only other technique you need to know for this project is how to work in the back loops, which you can learn here.
