Morning Glory flowers open to full bloom early in the morning, giving them their name. They were first cultivated in China, but the Japanese were the first to use them as an ornamental flower. According to the Victorian Language of Flowers, the Morning Glory represents “love in vain”.
Maggie has created an Easy Morning Glory crochet pattern that you will just love. Our easy crochet Morning Glory is worked in worsted weight yarn. We’ve used Deborah Norville’s Everyday Solid Yarn in Snow White and Royal Blue to crochet our Easy Morning Glory, but you can use your imagination along with Everyday’s 35 beautiful colors to create your own Morning Glory masterpiece.
For this easy skill level crochet project, you will need a size H/8 crochet hook. Dreamz Symfonie Crochet hooks are some of our favorites because of their warm wood construction and deep throat that helps keep your stitches from slipping.
