Free Pattern – Saturate Bobble Hat

photo from premier

Today’s free pattern features this gorgeous crochet hat with bobble stitch and cozy earflaps. This hat will definitely catch everyone’s eye and keep you toasty warm all winter long. It is made using Saturate® yarn from Premier®. Saturate is a lightweight #5 bulky weight yarn that comes in 6 colors. The hat shown above is done in color Clematis.

This project is intermediate in difficulty. You will need 3 skeins of Saturate to complete the hat. Gauge is important in this project because the hat is worked in straight rows from the top down, then seamed and gathered at the top.  I am using a size M / 13 / 9mm hook. The final touch is the faux fur pompom attached to the top of the hat.

You can find the pattern for the hat here. Don’t forget to click on the download button on the right side of the screen. This pattern includes a matching scarf that we will be bringing to you in another video.

You will also need a size M crochet hook (or whatever size gives you the correct gauge), a yarn needle, and one fur pompom.

I just love the fur pompom!  It gives this crochet project just the right amount of flair.

Hi Jodi, Most of our patterns are written as well. You will find links to the written patterns in the blog posts, toward the bottom of each blog page there will be a section that says “Here are links to the products and videos contained in this post” (or something like that), and the pattern link will be there. Thanks for reading!
