I love making holiday decorations, don’t you? There’s just something special about handmade ornaments and decorations. As I was browsing the internet last week I found these great ideas and just had to share them with you. From easy to adventurous, these eye-catching designs are sure to please.
These first three are from Martha Stewart, and we all know what a decorating genius she is! They are so easy to make and would be great projects to do with the kids. Check them out.
Candy Cane Mice can be used as tree or gift decorations.
Pipe Cleaner Wreath is another great idea for a tree or gift decoration. I just love the candle in the center of the wreath.
If you live where I do, you don’t have a white Christmas very often. But not to worry. You can make your own Snow Globes and enjoy your very own snowstorm even when it’s summer weather outside.
I love penguins, and the folks at upcyclethat.com have a great idea for making adorable penguin ornaments out of old incandescent light bulbs. Aren’t they cute?
This peacock feather wreath from HGTV looks so beautiful and elegant. Peacock feathers are available at most craft stores, as are the feather boas used to cover the wreath form. You could also decorate a traditional pine wreath with peacock feathers. What do you think?
Are you feeling inspired? There are tons of ideas on the internet for making your own holiday decorations. Go take a look. I’m sure you will find something that’s easy as well as eye-catching. Happy crafting!
