Have you started on your Easter crochet projects? Easter is such a special time of year. We celebrate our faith and welcome spring after the LONG winter. Easter is also a favorite time of year for children, with Easter baskets, eggs, bunnies, chicks and ducklings. No matter how you celebrate the season, Maggie has a free crochet pattern for you!
In this post we are featuring five of Maggie’s best free Easter patterns. The first pattern is a beautiful Easter cross that also features a floral applique. This cross can be completed using cotton thread, light sport weight yarn, worsted or even chunky weight yarns. The link to this pattern can be found here: Easter Cross (FP220).

Nothing says “Easter” to children better than an Easter basket. Maggie has designed an Easter Basket applique (FP221) that is perfect for decorating children’s apparel, or you could add a pin to the back and wear it on a lapel, or even add a magnet for a fridgie.

Have plastic eggs that could use some decoration? These large and small plastic egg covers pattern will work up fast for cute and easy decorations. For the small one we tied a bow, but for the large egg we made a drawstring so that we could hang up our eggs.
