Men’s Vintage Crochet Fashion

Oh, vintage fashion. Sometimes the years gracefully age what was once popular. Other times, they are not so kind. I leave it to you to decide which is which of the following photos.

If your family gets jealous of your awesome sweater vest, you can just make them their own.  Pair with a turtle neck for the perfect look!

rib ticklers C & D

Coats and Clark, Inc, 1971. Found at doe-c-doe.

These “rib-tickler” vests were designed to be extremely tight so the granny square pattern would stretch out and contrast against the undershirt.

What’s with the belt? Seriously – the is the second picture of a sweater vest with a belt on top (see photo #1).
