Violet Free Crochet Pattern

The violet is one of the most popular indoor flowering plants. Violets also grow wild and free the world over. Did you know that pansies are a type of violet? Or that the violet symbolizes faithfulness? You most likely have some faithful friends who would love a gift of handmade violets.

The Violet Free Crochet Pattern is one of Maggie’s newest free flower patterns. This easy skill level crochet pattern can be worked in light weight yarn like Afternoon Cotton for a small flower, or in Everyday worsted weight yarn for a larger flower.

And you’re going to need a crochet hook, size G/6 for the smaller violet flower or size H/8 for the larger one. Dreamz Symfonie Crochet Hook Set includes sizes E/4 through L/11.  These hooks are some of the best, with a deep groove that helps prevent stitches from slipping off the hook. And they are smooth and warm to the hand, as well as beautiful to the eye!
